As far as dramas go, Robert Redford’s first foray into movie directing should not be missed. It was nominated for six Oscars and won four including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor in a young Timothy Hutton.
A little secret I must share is that I can’t help but feel that there are some difficult Bible verses that I understand a little better after I watched this movie. Weird, I know. Those verses are found in Hebrews 6:4-6 and 1 John 2:19. It is probably a bit of a stretch for most but I can only say there was an insight, an inkling of added enlightenment for me. Call me crazy. Perhaps you may have a similar experience if you take the time to watch this well-made film while it is streaming on Amazon Prime.
